The Center serves as a focal point for activities linking former students and business executives from Mexico and Texas, and throughout Central and South America.
Activities and programs conducted through the Mexico City Center promote understanding between Mexico and the United States. To date, the Center has played an important role in strengthening Texas A&M's linkages with academic institutions, business organizations, and governmental agencies in Mexico. Texas A&M is the only U.S. institution to have a facility of this kind in Mexico. The Texas A&M University Mexico Center was created through the generosity of former students and friends of Texas A&M. Mr. Pablo Marvin '66 and his wife Barbara donated the space for the Center on the 15th floor of their building located on Reforma Avenue.
