As part of the Certificate in International Petroleum Management, Mays Business School will award the degree candidate a Certificate in International Petroleum Management. To qualify for this certificate, the student must complete at least 18 hours in Mays from the following courses:

Options

Based on background and qualifications, certain students may request that some foundation courses be replaced by more advanced courses given by Mays. Students requesting changes in these courses must obtain permission from both the Petroleum Engineering Department and Mays.

  • A Master of Engineering report and a final exam before an advisory committee is required for this degree.
  • The Petroleum Engineering Certificate in International Petroleum Management form must accompany your degree plan when it is submitted for approval. All degree plan courses must be clearly identified by category. For additional information, contact the Petroleum Engineering Department and/or Mays.
Financial Aid Note

Students receiving financial assistance from the Petroleum Engineering Department are required to register for at least 9 hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and for at least 6 hours total during the summer sessions.
