International Business Tapes, Diskettes, Simulations, etc.

CIBS maintains a collection of video tapes (VHS format) in Wehner 230 that could be borrowed for use in the classroom. Mays College faculty and doctoral students are encouraged to borrow the tapes and other available resources. CIBS Library

A limited number of periodicals from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, United Nations, etc. are available in CIBS conference room for faculty and doctoral students to borrow for short periods of time. West Campus Library

The West Campus Library subscribes to several international data bases, e.g. Datastream International, etc. Please visit the librarian for more details.

 

International Curriculum Development Grants (ICDG)

Administered by the TAMU's International Center, funding is available for faculty to develop courses with an international focus or adding international dimension to an existing course. Each year a total of about $5,000 is given in grants to faculty for international curriculum development. CIBS will match the International Center award for developing courses that will be offered on a regular basis. Deadline is generally around February 10. Bush Excellence in International Teaching Faculty Award

Administered by the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, the award is in recognition of faculty to make outstanding contributions to international education of TAMU students. The award is designed for TAMu faculty and is presented in lat February/early March each yar at the Consuls Generals Luncheon during "International Week".
