located at Glendon College in Toronto, the Institute has fifteen branches
nationwide, one branch in the United States and a membership that spans the
country. Branches hold regular meetings featuring guest speakers who address
topical international economic, political, and social issues. Its International Journal is one of the major periodicals in the field of foreign affairs.
Canadian Institute of International Affairs' speakers range from scholars to diplomats to government officials, and from business leaders to scientists to foreign dignitaries.
