Orientation for International Students
As a new incoming reciprocal exchange (REEP) student to Texas A&M University, it is mandatory that you participate in the following orientations:
1. The Texas A&M University Study Abroad Office will hold a special ORIENTATION for all REEP students. It is mandatory that you attend this orientation conducted by Ben Petty, TAMU Exchange Coordinator. Refer to your acceptance packet for date and time.
2. As an international student, the Texas A&M University International Student Services (ISS) office also presents a mandatory Orientation & Check-In program. The following link will take you to the ISS Orientation & Check-In page and will provide you with their orientation schedules, agenda and documents required for check-in. 3. VISA: Exchange students are required to obtain a J-1 visa. Applying for a Student Visa

6. Accommodation: Please remember that it is the student's responsibility to secure housing for the duration of the student's time here at Texas A&M.
- On-campus Housing: Students mut be admitted and have a univeristy UIN to apply. Students will receive on-campus housing application information in their acceptance packet. (http://reslife.tamu.edu/how/)
