Orientation for International Students

As a new incoming reciprocal exchange (REEP) student to Texas A&M University, it is mandatory that you participate in the following orientations:

1. The Texas A&M University Study Abroad Office will hold a special ORIENTATION for all REEP students.  It is mandatory that you attend this orientation conducted by Ben Petty.  Please see the following link for the study abroad office agenda and schedule.

2.  As an international student, the Texas A&M University International Student Services (ISS) office also presents a mandatory Orientation & Check-In program.  The following link will take you to the ISS Orientation & Check-In page and will provide you with their orientation schedules, agenda and documents required for check-in.

3.  VISA:  Exchange students are required to obtain a J-1 visa.

4.  Health Insurance:  All exchange students are required to have health insurance during their stay.  Please follow these guidelines carefully.

6.  Accommodation:  Please remember that it is the student's responsibility to secure houseing for the duration of the student's time here at Texas A&M.

  • On-campus Housing:  The University offers on-campus housing for undergraduate students only.  Undergraduate students will receive on-campus housing application information in their acceptance packet.
  • Off-campus Housing:  Graduate students and undergraduate students who prefer to live off-campus can find additional housing information at the link below:
