ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM - DEADLINE: Monday, September 12, 2011
A noncredit beginners Spanish language course will be taught by Tony Caraballo and offered Fall 2011 by the Center for International Business Studies and the Department of Hispanic Studies. The course begins on Tuesday, September 13th and ends on Thursday, November 3rd. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Wehner 155/156 (Mays Business School) located on the TAMU campus in College Station. This course is FREE, and applicants will be accepted on a first-come basis.
The course is open to faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, staff members, and anyone in the community interested in the Spanish language and culture. To register for this class, you DO NOT need prior experience in the Spanish language. If you have specific questions about the course, please contact Tony Caraballo (caraballo@tamu.edu).
The textbook for this class is entitled Review Text in Spanish First Year (ISBN 978-0-87720-142-7) and can be purchased at the information desk (979-845-8681) or online at the Texas A&M University MSC Bookstore. The current class syllabus can be accessed on the CIBS website.

- Noun and Pronoun Structures
- Adjective/Adverb and Related Structures
- Word Study
- Spanish & Spanish-American Civilizations
- Related video presentations
