Mitsui USA
Mitsui & Co. (USA), Inc. provides generous scholarship support for students of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. The Mitsui USA Scholars Program began in 1989 and has allowed more than 170 Mays business students to gain invaluable overseas experience.
The Mitsui USA Scholarship Program allows selected undergraduate and graduate business students to take the opportunity to study abroad and immerse themselves in the business and cultural environments of Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Canada. The program provides study abroad funding for undergraduate and graduate business majors participating in an approved semester or year-long study abroad or exchange program.
Selection Criteria
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Participation in Mays overseas semester or year-long programs
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Demonstrated interest in international business
- Ability to communicate clearly in written English
- Foreign language competency considered a plus
Application Deadlines
- Spring Semester Programs -- November 1st
- Fall Semester Programs -- March 1st
